Conclusions/ discovery | They discovered that this syndrome is more likely to occur during the end of pregnancy with a prevalence of 20% compared to 5-10% without pregnancy. It is a genetic syndrome. Between 40% and 90% of patients with RLS have at least one first-degree relative (parent, sibling, or child) with the condition. Exercise activity can decrease the odds of having RLS or help to reduce the symptom severity after around six weeks by 39%. |
